People & Communities

People are central to our business, and our performance depends on the strength of the relationships we build with employees, contractors, suppliers, and the communities in which we operate.

We are committed to fostering a culture that prioritises safety, well-being, and continuous development, while promoting inclusion, diversity, and collaboration across all levels of the organisation. Empowering our employees is key to our success, and we support their growth through opportunities for professional development and a positive work environment.

By actively engaging with local communities, we aim to make a meaningful social and environmental impact, supporting initiatives that enhance community well-being and drive sustainable development in the regions where we operate.

Graduate Programme

Developing tomorrow’s leaders is one of our top priorities, and our graduates are central to this goal. Our Graduate Programme is designed to give them real responsibility, hands-on experience, and strong support to make an impact within the company from day one.

Through structured rotations, mentorship, and professional development, we focus on building their skills and confidence to prepare them for a successful career.

With opportunities to work across different functions and areas of the business, our programme provides a solid foundation for ambitious graduates ready to grow and lead.

Communities

At Roadstone, we are committed to giving back to the communities we serve, and supporting meaningful charitable initiatives is a core part of our values.

We are proud to be involved in projects like DIY SOS, The Big Build Ireland and the Julian Benson Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. These partnerships allow us to make a positive impact on the lives of those in need, whether through providing building materials or supporting fundraising efforts.

We believe it’s important to contribute to causes that help improve people’s lives and strengthen our communities.

Employee Development Programme

Another initiative Roadstone is proud to support is the Employee Development Programme (EDP), which empowers our employees to reach their full potential.

Following the success of the inaugural 2023 programme, we’ve launched the 2024 & 2025 EDP, bringing together employees from across CRH Ireland & Northern Ireland to collaborate on real business challenges.

This programme is designed to develop and leverage the skills of our people, encouraging personal growth, boosting confidence, and strengthening connections across our businesses. It’s an important part of our commitment to fostering talent, driving innovation, and ensuring our employees are equipped to shape the future of the construction industry.
