Roadstone precoated chips or chippings are Hi-PSV aggregate chips coated with bitumen and they are applied to the surface of 30% and 35% Hot Rolled Asphalt at a determined spread rate. The application of pre-coated chippings imparts surface macro texture and provides the surface with skid resistance properties.
