At Grand Canal Quay, Roadstone supported the delivery of a bespoke stormwater treatment solution to protect the local watercourse from sediments, debris, hydrocarbons, heavy metals and nutrients. An Up-Flo™ Filter was designed to fit within an existing manhole, providing high-performance treatment while working within the constraints of the site.
Protection of local watercourse from discharge water containing:
- Fine and coarse sediments
- Floatable debris (trash, litter, plastics)
- Liquid hydrocarbons (oils) and sediment-bound hydrocarbons
- Sediment-bound heavy metals
- Sediment-bound nutrients
- Using an existing manhole
The Up-Flo™ Filter is an advanced stormwater treatment system that combines sedimentation and screening with filtration to deliver exceptional surface water pollution removal.

This specific unit was a bespoke design with a modified frame to suite the chamber. The solution was to provide the unit in kit form for installation on site. Installation drawings were provided and we offered an onsite inspection post installation.
