Accommodate the special needs of the customer.
Be available to suit the tight project timeline.
Roadstone supplied 18m2 of Keltstone Walling in a Limestone colour to produce 2 stunning pillars.
Keltstone is a, 90mm thick, unique masonry product which recreates the look of traditional Irish stone. The Keltstone was built to a random bond to maintain the look of natural stone. In this project the Keltstone was constructed around a core of standard concrete 100mm blocks, laid on the flat. This was done in order to support the hanging of timber gates and accommodate a post box. The Keltstone Walling was also used to cap the piers.
9m2 of Roadstone’s Burren Dry Walling (Nickle Blend) was used at the western side of the house to create a large raised bed.
This walling is a new Roadstone DIY product and comes in 2 colours (Nickle Blend and Pewter Blend) and in 2 sizes to accommodate corners and stretcher bond construction. The walling was constructed using an adhesive which can be purchased at your local Roadstone Retail Outlet.
The use of Keltstone Walling at the entrance gate to the house provided a remarkable entrance, and framed the sweeping driveway.
The limestone colour of the pillars contrasted well with the sandy coloured decorative gravel.
Closer to the house Burren Walling marked the boundary from the decorative gravel to the raised beds. This DIY product offered a lovely texture and warmth and complimented the selection of planting.
Roadstone Technical staff should always be engaged with before the beginning of large projects. This gives the client the full benefit of the project experience of Roadstone staff.
A Roadstone Retail outlet should be visited before commencement in order that customer can see and take-home samples of the paving or walling options.
